LIFEproETV and ETV presented at the Hungarian Ministry of Energy

On 8 February 2023 KÖVET participated in a meeting at the Ministry for Energy (former Ministry for Technology and Industry and Ministry for Innovation and Technology). The meeting was held at under-secretary of state and head of department level.

At the meeting KÖVET presented ETV and the LIFEproETV project as one of the main topics. We spoke about the project in detail and highlighted KÖVET’s role in it as facilitator of the ETV scheme in Hungary. The representatives of the Ministry were interested in the scheme and are looking forward to further information and invitations to upcoming events. Apparently The Ministry was just informed at this meeting that the European Committee suspended the ETV scheme.

As a next step KÖVET is contacting the Hungarian National Accreditation Authority and the potential verifiers to further discuss the possibility of the implementation of the ETV scheme in Hungary.
