Combating “greenwashing” with verification and transparency systems

“Greenwashing” is a strategy used by some companies and organizations to give a false image of commitment to the environment; However, it can be combated with verification and transparency tools such as the ETV environmental technology verification scheme. The potential of ETV in combating greenwashing related to green technologies is deeply explained in this publication.
